It’s All Good!

//It’s All Good!

In life we all have an opportunity to exercise our freedom of choice, but unfortunately we don’t always make the right decisions. Today, I had to counsel a good friend of mine due to some decisions that she made which caused her to be in a predicament on the job. Sometimes we can get a little off track because of the curveballs that are thrown at us in life. I knew that she was going through a rough patch so I made myself available to listen and provide guidance only if the opportunity presented itself.

My personality is that of an outgoing person that loves to engage in though-provoking conversations for the purpose of growth and development. She knew that, so naturally she decided to get my opinion on something that was near and dear to her heart. Although I have a serious side, I try to make sure that I address issues in a comical yet practical way.  I make it a point to always look for the positive in a situation, because I am a firm believer that what ever doesn’t kill you can only make you stronger.

There is one thing that I know, and that is laughter is like medicine to the soul and a caring heart is like food to the starving. Here are 2 things that I shared with her today concerning life and keeping a positive mentality.

1. If it doesn’t kill you, you will get through it! Many times things, situations and circumstance appear to be so huge that we feel there is no way out, around or over it. Know that this is far from the truth. You can and will overcome any obstacle that you face s long as you don’t give up or give in.

2. Always look for the lesson! Ask yourself what am I suppose to learn in this situation? How could I have avoided this issue and am I passing the test? These are vital questions that will help you gain clarity.

You are more resilient than you know as these 2 things keep me productive. Here is to a more productive you! Well, if you enjoyed this blog, I ask that you share it on your social media streams like: Google +, FB, Twitter and IG with someone you feel may benefit from it.
